Overview
I was lucky to join the organisation in it's early startup days in January 2012. My roles and tasks within FairFX Group Plc evolved over the years, with various roles in the design, marketing & engineering team.
Tasks ranged from creating new products, whitelabels, TV adverts, newsletters and company presentations, to managing large affiliate systems, our website redesign/rebuild and creating the foundations of a successful online advertising strategy that brought 1m+ customers to the organisation.
An overview of roles:
- Design & develop various websites in HTML5, ReactJS (NextJS/TypeScript), WordPress and Perl as Frontend Developer
- Digital Marketing Campaigns as Head of Online Marketing
- Optimise website with 1m+ sessions to onboard clients as Lead Analyst & Product Manager
- Manage various marketing and engineering projects during the rebrand from FairFX Group to Equals Group
Over 10 years, we continued to build and improve our system architecture, from Perl & HTML in 2012, to React TypeScript in 2022.
We integrated a lot of libraries/tools such as NextJS, Hubspot, Sendgrid, Webflow, MailChimp, DotMailer, WordPress, Google Dev Tools etc
